Hollow
YouTubeReleased May 30, 2025
It has been a long time since I uploaded and I was feeling froggy so I put up two today. This is an original song I wrote recently off the back of a particularly embarrassing event where I got too drunk at an open mic and couldn't remember the words to my own songs...luckily shame is one of my favorite muses. Hope you enjoy!

Cocaine and Abel :: by Amigo the Devil :: Acoustic Cover
YouTubeReleased December 06, 2020
I found Amigo the Devil earlier this year via The Cult of the Curious (if you don't know, go find out ;) ) and have been obsessed with him ever since. This discovery opened me up to a plethora of other artists under the genre of "Murder Folk" so expect a cover of a Harley Poe song eventually. This song in particular really resonated with me though. If you know any of my original music, it's all mostly self deprecating and this song is that and then some but with a lyrical prose that I can only hope to reach someday. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed learning and covering it!
Listen on YouTubeThe Times They Are A-Changin :: by Bob Dylan :: Acoustic Cover
YouTubeReleased September 09, 2020
I haven't been uploading as regularly as I want to so I decided to do a quick video today while I had a little bit of time. I did mess up the chord progression here and there but it didn't mess up the flow so I went with it. Bonus is that I think this song is still fairly pertinent today, even though Dylan recorded it way back in 1963, which is kind of sad if you think about it. Hopefully one day we'll get to a place where this song is only a reminder of the struggles our country has gone through to provide equity to all its peoples. If you like, subscribe!
Listen on YouTubeRed String :: Original Song
YouTubeReleased July 19, 2020
Here's one of my more recent original songs. It came up from the idea of being able to tell how old a tree is and what it's been through by looking at the rings. Though of course once you cut it down to look at the rings that is the end of that cycle of growth. Strings used to be used as a method of remembering things by tying them to your finger, so the idea is about having to constantly remind yourself that everything is going to be okay.
Listen on YouTubeJesus Christ :: by Brand New :: Cover
YouTubeReleased May 28, 2020
This is one of the most memorable songs from Brand New's third studio album, The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me, released in 2006. Being the epitome of early 00's emo, this album has really stood the test of time. When I finally got my pedals plugged up and running, I realized the slow and simple melody and easy lead were the perfect candidates for my first run with the looper. The structure is a bit different, due to being by myself and wanting to perform the whole thing in one take, but the base of the song is there. I know I messed up the words at the end, but I really didn't feel like trying to see if I can make it through the whole thing flawlessly again. Still recording through my phone, which does unfortunately clip my highs sometimes and they sound a little compressed. Either way, hope ya'll enjoy! Please like, share, and subscribe!

Listen on SoundCloudIt Don't Exist :: by Bayside :: Acoustic Cover
YouTubeReleased November 19, 2019
The first single released from Bayside's most recent album was one of the best songs on the album. Easy to play and pretty easy to sing, it was fun learning this song and having it sound good while not having to spend a lot of time learning it. There are a couple mistakes in the video, a wrong note here and there or the fact that I keep adding the word "down" to the chorus. Not sure why, I know it's not supposed to be there and I keep doing it anyway. Hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoyed making this. As always constructive criticism and boisterous praise are appreciated!
Listen on YouTubeAt The Bottom of Everything :: by Bright Eyes :: Acoustic Cover
YouTubeReleased November 12, 2019
Bright Eyes is probably the band I've learned the most covers of. They're usually pretty easy to play and sing. I learned this one because when my son was two he loved to dance around the room to the fast upbeat guitar rhythm. Funny enough, I first got into Bright Eyes with the Cassadaga album and didn't really listen to the discography before that until a few years later. I was unaware of how oblivious I was to what would become one of my all-time favorite front-to-back listens. This song comes from "I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning" released on Saddle Creek Records in 2005. Constructive criticism is always appreciated and boisterous praise will make me smile. Listen on YouTubeThe Light Behind Your Eyes :: by My Chemical Romance :: Acoustic Cover
YouTubeReleased November 06, 2019
THEY'RE BACK!!!! So this had to be done. "The Light Behind Your Eyes" was released as a part of a set of six extra two song sets called Conventional Weapons, which were said to be songs that didn't make the cut for MCR's last studio album Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. How this song didn't make the cut is beyond me as it has to be considered in one of the best ballads that My Chemical Romance has come out with to date. When I saw the news that a reunion was on its way (and hopefully a North American tour) I had to record a cover to celebrate! I had other songs I considered but this one is so great and easy to play on the guitar that I ultimately wound up here. As always, constructive criticism and boisterous praise are not required, but are most definitely appreciated.
Listen on YouTubeFour Winds :: by Bright Eyes :: Acoustic Cover
YouTubeReleased November 01, 2019
An acoustic cover of the song "Four Winds" by Bright Eyes from the album Cassadaga, released in 2007. This was the song that got me into Bright Eyes and started my journey into an obsession with Conor Oberst and all his projects. Thanks for watching and as always constructive criticism or boisterous praise are always appreciated. I try to post videos once a week so subscribe if you'd like to see my future covers and originals.
Listen on YouTubeSowing Season :: Original Song
YouTubeReleased October 27, 2019
Here is another original song written while I was most likely more drunk than I would have liked to have been. It's about wasted potential at the hands of a chemical induced apathy. I've been working on trying to write and put more original content out for the world to see. Hopefully you all enjoy it. As always, comments and constructive criticism is more than welcome and look forward to more original music coming in the future!
Listen on YouTubeIf I Go, I'm Goin :: by Gregory Alan Isakov :: Acoustic Cover
YouTubeReleased October 17, 2019
A cover of Gregory Alan Isakov's song "If I Go, I'm Goin". Been playing with the video recording settings on my phone to try and get better picture and audio quality and I think I'm on to something with what I've got here. As always, constructive criticism is welcome and it would mean a lot if you'd subscribe and like the video. Thanks for watching!
Listen on YouTubeWhere Have You Been :: by Manchester Orchestra :: Acoustic Cover
YouTubeReleased September 23, 2019
My version of my favorite Manchester Orchestra song. The audio quality isn't the greatest when filming from my phone but its passable.
Listen on YouTubeRescue the Weary :: Original Song
YouTubeReleased August 27, 2018
An original song I wrote a few years ago. The whistling solo is a little sketch but still turned out alright haha. As always, constructive criticism is more than welcome. Like, comment, and subscribe for more videos. I've been hankering to make this channel more active again!
Listen on YouTubeHurt :: by Johnny Cash :: Cover
YouTubeReleased March 15, 2017
A cover of Johnny Cash's version of the Nine Inch Nails song "Hurt". One of the first songs I learned, I just played the chords at first and as I got better I was able to play it picked out. Played it from memory so I might've messed something up here or there! Hope you enjoy!
Listen on YouTubeIf The Brake Man Turns My Way :: by Bright Eyes :: Acoustic Cover
YouTubeReleased February 09, 2011
My favorite song by Bright Eyes so I went and looked up the tabs. It turned out to be pretty easy so I learned it and people liked it, thus, I share it with others. As always constructive criticism is always appreciated :] Hope you enjoy
